3D street artwork of Phineas and Ferb in KL; movie to air on Disney Channel (ASTRO Channel 615 in Malaysia)

Disney Channel in collaboration with Multimedia Development Corporation, The One Academy of Communication Design, Pavilion KL and Fahrenheit88 has organized a 3D street artwork of Phineas and Ferb on Thursday 25th August from 2.30pm onwards at Pavillion KL.

‘Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the Second Dimension’ is going to premiere on 27th August, Saturday at 7.30pm, only on Disney Channel (ASTRO Channel 615 in Malyasia).

The students and lecturers from The One Academy will create the 3-dimensional locally-inspired, movie-themed images at the Pavillion KL- Bukit Bintang entrance and at the Fahrenheit88 main concourse.

‘Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension’ (also known as Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension) is a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the TV series Phineas and Ferb. It is the first feature-length film of the Phineas and Ferb series, and the fourth animated Disney Channel Original Movie, the others being Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama, Kim Possible: A Stitch in Time and The Proud Family Movie.

The film premiered on August 5, 2011 on Disney Channel in the United States and generated the following ratings:

  • TV’s No. 1 Scripted Telecast of 2011 in Kids 6-11, TV’s No. 1 Movie in Tweens 9-14 and Cable’s No. 1 Movie in Total Viewers
  • Cable’s No. 1 Animated Telecast in Over 3 Years in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14;
  • Becomes Cable’s No. 4 Animated Telecast of All Time Among Tweens 9-14
  • Summer 2011’s Most-Watched Friday Telecast Across All Television
