Netcarbon announces today that the Supertots animation series has been picked up by MediaPrima Group for screening on free-to-air channel TV3, Malaysia’s most watched free-to-air television channel.

“We are very pleased that Supertots has been selected to be part of the MediaPrima family of quality children’s programming which includes Upin & Ipin and Boboiboy.” says Rashdan Ramlee, CEO of Netcarbon.

Supertots had won the NEF-AWANI award for Best Animation earlier this year organized by satellite broadcaster ASTRO and industry guild NEF.

The 13 episode CGI animation series will begin screening on 15th October 2011 at the 9 am Saturday kids prime slot.

The Supertots series is an adventure comedy targeting boys and girls 6-9 years old.

Supertots follows the adventures of a team of super powered kids who patrol the galaxy as officers of Superfleet, assisted by their absent minded computer caretaker Atoq. Their main task is to keep the mayhem prone evil genius wannabe Zeeboz in check while maintaining peace in the sector.

Captain Danny. Elly, Alan, Blinq and Sasha dream of being Superfleet’s top team, but their constant bickering and childish behaviour are getting in the way.

The Supertots’ journey take them not just across the galaxy onto new planets and new alien civilizations but also takes them on a journey to find true friendship and teamwork while earning the respect of Superfleet’s top brass.

TV3 is part of the MediaPrima media group which includes TV9, NTV7 and TV8.
