Jim Gianopulos to Present Keynote Address for the Film Finance Forum @ ScreenSingapore

Winston Baker, a global producer of film finance conferences, announced that Jim Gianopulos, Chairman and CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment, will be the keynote speaker during the Film Finance Forum @ ScreenSingapore on June 7, 2011 at the Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island.

Mr. Gianopulos will speak on "The Big Picture: The Evolution of Media and Entertainment" and address ways in which various media platforms are converging to capture audiences on a global level. Mr. Gianopulos will also provide insight into views on collapsing traditional distribution windows; the impact of digitization and 3D films on box office revenues; and film finance in the context of corporate and financial markets.

Mr. Gianopulos has been Chairman and CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment since July 2000. In March 2009, his responsibilities were expanded to include oversight of all of News Corporation's Los Angeles-based creative production divisions, including Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp., Fox Searchlight Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Twentieth Century Fox Television. In this capacity he oversees feature film and television production and marketing, as well as global distribution spanning the theatrical, broadcast, cable, home entertainment, digital and mobile markets. Mr. Gianopulos has been involved in the film and television industry for more than 30 years and has played a leading role in the evolution of media and entertainment.
