Malaysia’s Ed- Online & Singapore’s Scrawl Studio sign E-Learning Distribution for ‘Mission Health’
Ed-Online Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Scrawl Studios (Singapore) Pte Ltd signed an exclusive e-Learning distribution agreement during MIPTV 2011. Ed-Online, under the Malaysian Pavilion co-hosted FINAS & SKMM in association MATRADE & GCMA, will distribute “Mission Health”, a 30 learning modules x 3 mins animated vignettes and interactive modules. It combines fact-filled animation with interactive games and online assessments to create a fun-learning environment for kids 6 - 8 years old. “Mission Health” is a spin-off property “Nanoboy”, Scrawl Studios’ popular animated TV series, which has been sold to over 20 territories worldwide.
Scrawl Studios CEO, Seng Choon Meng said, “We’re excited to partner Ed-Online in Malaysia, a key market in our regional strategy. “Mission Health” is Scrawl’s first successful foray into transmedia development and we’re confident we have a winning combination in this collaboration with the country’s leading e-learning provider.”
Abdul Khalid Maulod, FINAS Director of Promotion and Head of Malaysia Pavilion Delegation added that he was happy to bridge collaboration efforts between Singapore and Malaysia, as both countries share common languages, cultures and traditions. Looking ahead, Malaysia hopes to increase its collaboration ties with Singapore to share resources, experiences and networks through other co-production and distribution opportunities.
